The leathers we use are vegetable-tanned, an ecological method that utilizes tree bark and fruits, thus respecting the environment and giving the leather a beauty that only improves with age. Instead of discarding hides from other sectors, we give them a new purpose by creating a sustainable cycle. At Huemul, we seek out unique and different leathers, very special and of the highest quality, to create timeless designs; one-of-a-kind, inheritable pieces that will last forever. Our work is ethical. All processes are carried out by ourselves, without mass production, and in our workshop, ensuring a careful way of working and a product of excellent quality.
